With the release of these 3 exclusive images, the first from our Third Man Photo Studio Dark Room, shot in the TMR studio and printed by hand by the photographer, Jo McCaughey, in the TMR darkroom, she gives fans a glimpse into her unique view point of the behind the scenes work here at Third Man. All three images were taken on set of The Dead Weather’s video shoot for their single “I Cut Like A Buffalo”, which was directed by Jack White III.

British born and raised and now living and working in Nashville TN with her photography, Jo McCaughey has become an integral part of the Third Man Records fabric. From shooting a great deal of the sleeve art for the Blue and Green Series of 7” releases here in our in-house photo studio, to being an ever present documentarian of our live shows, events and behind the scenes day to day life at Third Man; Jo is an indispensable component to the cultural documentation of our label, bands and lives.
